The Property Disposal Program offers City agencies a professional service for the proper disposition of surplus property. Office furniture, office equipment and City-owned and abandoned vehicles are the most common items deemed as surplus. The use of a centralized property disposal system is required by the City Charter. The program’s policy and disposition procedures can be found in the City’s Administrative Manual (AM 306-1 and AM 306-1-1).
